This Privacy Policy explains, at a high level, how Athlete may collect and use information when you visit this website, use the Athlete mobile app, contact us, or inquire about a meal subscription in Alexandria, Egypt.
Information Athlete may process
Depending on how you interact with Athlete, we may process:
- name
- phone number
- delivery information
- subscription information
- account information
- customer preferences
- profile details you choose to provide in the app, such as age, gender, height, weight, and fitness goal
- workout logs you record in the app
- a push notification token for your device, if you allow notifications in the app
- meal selections and kitchen or delivery notes
- payment information: payment status and payment proof images you upload (for example, wallet transfer screenshots); card payments are processed by our payment provider, and Athlete does not store full card numbers
We use this information to respond to inquiries, discuss plans, arrange delivery, and operate the Athlete service.
Health-related details (such as weight and fitness goal) are used only to prepare suitable meals and plans and to support your service.
How information may be used
Athlete may use the information you provide to communicate with you, prepare and deliver meals, manage subscription details, and improve how the service is offered. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
Secure third-party infrastructure and services may be used to operate the website, communications, and related service functions. Those providers process information only as needed to support Athlete. These may include hosting and database, SMS verification for login, payment processing, and, where enabled, notification delivery.
Photos and permissions
The app asks for photo library access only to let you upload a payment proof. If you allow notifications, the app stores a push notification token for your device so Athlete can send you workout rest timer reminders and service updates, such as subscription reminders or reminders to choose your meals. Offers, new meals and news are sent only if you turn on "Offers & news" in your app Profile, and you can turn it off at any time. You can also turn off all notifications in your device settings. The notification token is removed when you sign out or delete your account. Camera and microphone are not used.
Cookies and site operation
This website may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for the site to function. Additional analytics or marketing tools are not part of this version of the site.
Account deletion
You can request account deletion from inside the app or through the Delete Account page on this website. Once any active service ends, your personal details are removed or anonymized. Some records may be kept where needed for accounting or legal reasons.
